Bedworth

The St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church is also a prominent building in the town centre.

Nuneaton

Nuneaton's traditional industries like textiles and manufacturing have declined drastically in the post-war years. Due to its good transport links, Nuneaton is now largely a commuter town for nearby Coventry and Birmingham. However electronics and distribution remain major economic activities in the town. MIRA Limited, formerly the Motor Industry Research Association, is based on a disused wartime airfield on the A5, to the north of the town. One of the biggest developments in the town's history, the multi-million pound Ropewalk Shopping Centre, opened on 1 September 2005 in the hope that it will give the town extra income from the shopping, attract more visitors and retailers, and steer shoppers away from larger retail centres such as Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Solihull. The town centre itself has undergone a successful transition from being an uninteresting 'dormitory town' service centre in the 1980s to a relatively thriving and well-planned retail and business district by the 2000s. Holland & Barrett has its headquarters based on the Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate but it moving to a new headquarters at Elliot Park. Bermuda Park is home of the National Distribution Centre of Dairy Crest and RS Components.

Nuneaton railway station

The station was opened in 1847 when the London North Western Railway opened the Trent Valley section of the West Coast Main Line in order to avoid the congested areas of Coventry and Birmingham. A second station, Nuneaton Abbey Street, was opened in 1873 to link the nearby cities of Birmingham and Leicester and also to link Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Coalville via the Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway in order to access the large coal reserves located there.

Warwick Castle

Horace Walpole saw Brown's maturing scheme in 1751 and remarked in a letter: "The castle is enchanting. The view pleased me more than I can express; the river Avon tumbled down a cascade at the foot of it. It is well laid out by one Brown who has set up on a few ideas of Kent and Mr Southcote."[34]

Warwick

Warwick Gates is a newly developed housing estate and business park in Heathcote, south-west Warwick. Although separated from Warwick town centre by open fields, Warwick Gates falls within the Warwick South and Bishops Tachbrook parish. It is adjacent to Whitnash, a small town near Leamington Spa, and nearby the village of Bishops Tachbrook. The Tachbrook Park and Heathcote industrial estates are located nearby. The Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital is adjacent to Warwick Gates.
