Emsworth railway station

Emsworth railway station serves the small town of Emsworth, on the Hampshire side of the border between Hampshire and West Sussex, in southern England. It is located on the West Coastway Line which runs between Brighton and Southampton.

Tourner Bury

East of Mengham on Hayling Island (in England), Tourner Bury is the site of an Iron Age fort, as well as a woodland.

Hayling Island

A tourist attraction ? the East Hayling Light Railway ? is a 2 ft  (610 mm) gauge railway that runs for just over 1 mile (1.6 km) from Beachlands Station to Eastoke Corner with aspirations to extend the route to Ferry Point within the next few years.

Mengham

There is said to be a 'grave' in St Mary's churchyard which is in fact an entrance to a tunnel. This tunnel allegedly goes down to the shore and in past times smugglers used it to bring contraband items into the mainland. The tunnel, found under the name "Mary Gritt's" leads around 1/2 a mile underground. Where there has been a cave-in, a lot of wildlife is seen emerging from the grave.
