The first incident of 2007 happened on 3 January, at approximately a 23:45 (GMT)[6][7] on a slip road connecting the M25 motorway and the M4 motorway west of London near Heathrow Airport, when a National Express coach travelling from London to Aberdeen overturned.[7] Two people died of fatal wounds,[7] and dozens were injured in the accident. A third passenger died in hospital six months later as a result of "horrific injuries" sustained in the crash.[8] Despite this tragic incident, coach travel in the UK is still the safest form of road passenger transport, as confirmed by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT).[9]

However, Rickmansworth is still the changeover point for drivers on the Metropolitan Line. The majority of LU trains heading north to Amersham are timetabled to stop at Rickmansworth for about five minutes to change train staff. It is also the headquarters of the operational side of the northern section of the Met: It controls signals on the line from Northwood in the south to Watford/Chorleywood in the north and is one of the few locations on the Met where train drivers are based.
Chorleywood station is a London Underground and National Rail station in Travelcard Zone 7 (previously zone B) on the Metropolitan line. The town of Chorleywood is located in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire about 20 miles from London.
Of the fifteen, Charlotte Richardson was removed from the school by her parents within a couple of months. She was replaced by Charlotte Hatton. Also, Mary Bagley had petitioned for a place at the school but had been rejected, having been found to be too old. The governors, however, decided to keep her on as an assistant servant, getting maintenance, clothing, and her education in return.
