Cultra (pronounced /kÉ?lË?troÊ?/; in Irish Cúl Trá) is a residential suburban area adjacent to Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland, part of Greater Belfast. It is comfortably one of Northern Ireland's most affluent areas (hence the "Gold Coast" nickname for the district). Benefiting from attractive sea views and tree-lined avenues, house prices here are upwards of £5 million. It has relatively easy road and rail transport links to central Belfast.
Queen's has been led by a distinguished line of Vice-chancellors, including Sir David Keir, Lord Ashby of Brandon, Dr Michael Grant, Sir Arthur Vick, Sir Peter Froggatt, Sir Gordon Beveridge, and Sir George Bain, the current Vice Chancellor is Professor Peter Gregson.[2]
The refurbishment was performed by Graham Building Contractors and was jointly funded by Belfast City Council, the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The hall was reopened with a gala event on 6 March 2009.[9]

Jordanstown includes a University of Ulster campus, a bowling club, a few schools and shops. It also has a beach and seafront park area called Loughshore Park, which hosts various events throughout the year including the three day Loughshore Festival over the last weekend in August. The park sits on the shore of Belfast Lough. Jordanstown has been voted 5th most attractive place to live in Northern Ireland by the NI Neighbourhood Information Service.[citation needed]
