Other facilities at the ground continued being built over subsequent years, and the club's Don Robson Pavilion was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1996. A Bannatyne's Health Club is located on the boundary next to the Don Robson Pavilion. The full ground capacity, including permanent and temporary seating, is 15,000.
Pelton is a village in County Durham, in England. It is located to the northwest of Chester-le-Street. The village of West Pelton is located some distance to the west; separated from it by a few villages and closer to Stanley than to central Chester-le-Street. Pelton has two public houses, one RAOB club and a small range of convenience stores, including a greengrocers, three general stores, a Post Office, chemist, doctors surgery, dentist, no fewer than five take-away food outlets, and a number of hair salons. Local schools in the area include a primary school (Pelton Primary school) and a secondary school and Sixth Form College (Roseberry Sports and Community College) in Newfield. Pelton is very well served by public transport, with links to Stanley, Sunderland, Newcastle, Chester le Street and Consett.
Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens is a municipal museum in Sunderland, England. It is part of the Tyne and Wear Museums group, and is sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
From 1857 to 1859 it was reconstructed by Robert Stephenson, who stripped the bridge back to its six iron ribs and levelled the hump in its middle by raising the abutments. The bridge was reopened in March 1859, with the toll completely abolished in 1885.[3]
