Winkies Castle

The house's name comes from a cat, named Winkie, who once lived there. The museum has over 6,000 articles; including a two-headed lamb who is called "Bill and Ben".

Upleatham

It has a small church, believed by some to be the smallest in the world. The village is located near New Marske, between Saltburn and Guisborough; there are a few rows of houses which are adjacent to Errington Woods.

Quarrington Hill

The inhabitants of Quarrington Hill also shared the church of St. Pauls (built in 1868), with Cassop. The stones that were used in its construction were allegedly transported by William Smith, Innkeeper of the Half Moon Inn, Quarrington Hill, as he was the only villager to own such a cart to make this possible. It was closed during the 1980s and is now demolished. The churchyard is still used for burials.

Ludworth, County Durham

Ludworth is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated between Durham and Peterlee.

Willington Quay

The area, originally in the parish of Wallsend, became an urban sanitary district in the late 19th century. The Local Government Act 1894 brought together the Howdon and Willington Quay USDs as an urban district of Northumberland. In 1910, the urban district became part of the borough of Wallsend.
