King\'s Lynn

King\'s Lynn is a town and port in Norfolk, England. The town has been known variously as Bishop\'s Lynn and Lynn Regis, while it is frequently referred to by locals as simply Lynn, the Celtic word for lake.King\'s Lynn is the third largest settlement in Norfolk, after the city of Norwich and the town of Great Yarmouth. Sandringham House, the Norfolk residence of the British Royal Family, is 6 miles (9.7 km) north-east of King\'s Lynn. It is known as the birthplace of George Vancouver (1757?1798), an officer in the Royal Navy, who was the first person to explore the Pacific coast of the modern day Canadian province of British Columbia; the American states of Alaska, Washington, and Oregon; and the southwest coast of Australia. It is also the place of the first school attended by Diana, Princess of Wales.

North Wootton, Norfolk

West Norfolk Rugby Club is based here. There are also some very good rugby teams of different ages. There is only one school, North Wootton Primary School, Headteacher Mr J. Williams.

South Wootton

The older part of the village is based around the village green and St Mary's church, there has however been a fair amount of new housing built since the 1960s. There are two schools in South Wootton, South Wootton First School and South Wootton Junior School the former feeding into the latter.

Swanton Morley

On the top of a hill to the North of the village lies All Saints Church, a large church in comparison to the size of the village built to ambitious design, in particular the aisles of the nave extend to ?embrace? the tower, which is supported on three sides by massive arches. Also of great historical interest is the Mill Bakery, which has been in business since 1645, and is now Norfolk?s only organic bakery. The Mill bakery has changed ownership and premisies, and is currently owned by Budgens in Drayton and still continues production under the same name. The old premises including the historic mill are now being demolished.
